Overview

The Windows Phone 8 Company Portal App enables Windows Phone 8 devices which are managed by Microsoft System Center 2012 Configuration Manager SP1 and Windows Intune to be able to view and install line of business applications targeted to the Windows Phone 8 devices by their administrators.

The Windows Phone 8 Company Portal App is downloaded by the administrator and made available to the management system infrastructure to enable device enrollment for Windows Phone 8 devices. The Company Portal App is needed to manage Windows Phone 8 devices. After downloading the Windows Phone 8 Company Portal App, the administrator must code-sign the app.

Instructions

After downloading the Company Portal App, sign the Company Portal App with the Windows Phone 8 code signing certificate you received from Symantec via the microsoft portal and then include the signed Company Portal App in System Center 2012 Configuration Manager SP1 with the Windows Intune subscription or the Windows Intune setup wizard.

I had thought the "Company App Store" a killer feature of Windows 8. That it would really open it up to some awesome LOB app's. Now, I'm not so sure. At first read (and second, third... ninth) this seems like a pain? Or is it just me? Probably all I need to find is the walk through for this and all will be clear and I'll be a happy WP8 LOB Camper again. :P
